Palagama (www.palagamabeach.com) a boutique barefoot resort in Sri Lanka, has an opening for a Marketing Intern.
The candidate will work closely with the director to create an international and regional marketing and communications strategy. The role will involve liasing with local and international hospitality, tourism groups and bookings agents.
This is a great opportunity for a hard working, pro-active individual to get hands on marketing/branding experience and be part of this exciting resort. Tourism is currently booming in Sri Lanka and this internship will give immense insight.
The position will be split between time in Colombo and the West Coast, where the resort is based. We are looking for someone to start immediately. The internship is between 4 and 6 months but may be extended for the right candidate.
Flights will be provided and assistance on securing accommodation.
