Manages multiple areas including physical and occupational therapy and related services such as speech pathology and recreational therapy; acts as a facility liaison with outside rehabilitation and regulatory agencies.
Develops and monitors operating and capital budgets; monitors compliance with Medicare, Medical, and managed care reimbursement criteria; and develops the business plan for rehabilitation services.
Assures compliance of all regulatory agencies, licensure requirements, and Joint Commission standards.
Acts as clinical coordinator of education for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology interns.
RECRUITING GUIDELINES:
Experience: Four years of experience as a registered Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist in a hospital or healtcare setting, with at least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity of a multi-discipline rehabilitative services department.
